Location, Location, Location!

We stayed 5 nights and walked everywhere. The trolley, bus system and everything you want to do is within walking distance of this hotel. If you want to see Graceland or Sun Studio, you can catch a free shuttle at Rock'n Soul Museum. This hotel also had a complimentary full choice breakfast every morning...not just stale bagels and coffee either! Staff is very friendly. This isn't the Wyndham, but it's clean, affordable and in a great location!!

Beale Street's Best Getaway Lodging

I've stayed in the Beale Street area several times, and was pleasantly impressed with the Comfort Inn. The staff was 'out-of-their-way' friendly and helpful ... and our room was larger than expected, clean, and up-to-the-minute with it's flat-screen TV and surprisingly upscale bedding. The breakfast was a satisfying continental-plus (they even had fruit topping for the waffles), and the trolley to Beale Street was just steps away. Our overall experience here was wonderful. ( I kept pinching myself and thinking, "THIS is a Comfort Inn?") Great value for the money ... and better than most in downtown Memphis.

Clean and quiet

We enjoyed our three day stay at the Comfort Inn, Memphis. It was a bit out of the way for what we wanted to do, but the hotel was clean and quiet and we felt safe at this facility. The complimentary breakfast was adequate and a large part of why we use this hotel when we travel. The trolley stop located just a block from the hotel was handy and we left our truck parked for nearly our entire stay. Staff were polite and accomodating, although hardly enthused. The ice water and afternoon coffee and cookies at the reception area were most welcome! Priceier than I would expect, given the location and the obvious fact that downtown Memphis is striving to increase its tourism. Overall a great stay and I would recommend this hotel.

This was a nice hotel it was close to Beale street and me and my boyfriend walk everywhere we had to go. The staff was very friendly. The room was a nice size and very clean. I am planning to go down and stay there again for the event Memphis in May. I recommend any one going to Memphis to check out this hotel. One thing i have to say if you don't like walking the trolley in behind the hotel,Beale street and other places are not a block away you will have to walk. So bring your walking shoes i did.
