Best Luxurious Hotel On The Strip

  • May 5, 2008
  • Rated 5 of 5 by a traveler from Travelocity.com
When you walk in the hotel lobby you feel right away that its a luxorius hotel, the room was very clean, nicely decorated and comfy. The only downside was that the room did not have a refrigerator, but you can request one at no additional charge to your room. The staff was friendly and the food was good especially room service food. The poolside is nice and there is activities for kids in the pool area. They also have a jacuzzi and spa. I would recommend this hotel to anyone , its actually the nicest hotel on the strip on a prime location.

Best Birthday EVER!

Keep in mind, my dad worked for a world-class cruise line, so I've had some pretty awesome birthdays! My hubby booked an oceanfront room with 2 doubles for my birthday. We've traditionally stayed at Hyatts for special get-aways, where we've had a problem occasionally getting the room we actually booked/paid for (ie paying for non-smoking riverfront view, but got a smoking view of hotel roof!). We had no such problem at this hotel. The staff was courteous, extremely pleasant, and accomodating. The oceanfront view was incredible (even to a Florida girl) and our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I've never slept so well in a hotel; their beds are a dream! We had two friends pop in and stay the night with us, and it wasn't even a tight fit. We had wireless internet access and enjoyed lounging in the room with the sliding glass door open to admit the ocean breeze. We used the roof-top pool and hot tub, thoroughly enjoyed the sand volleyball pit on the beach, and treated ourselves to virgin daquerris from the outside bar. We're a young couple (22 & 20 at the time of this stay) and so we have a tight budget, but even a fantastic room at the Daytona Hilton is an "affordable splurge" for most people, I think. All-in-all, a VERY relaxing, entertaining overnight stay and very memorable. I intend to make another wonderful memory soon with the help of Hilton!

Not worth the money

The hotel failed to provide an ocean view room as I had booked. Many of their rooms have partial ocean views or a view of the large bungee jumping ride on the pier. For $*+ per night, they should accommodate their guests requests. I was moved to a partial ocean view with two queen beds instead of the ocean view kind that I had paid for. Save your money and book one of the many other hotels on the strip, this one was not what someone would expect from Hilton.

Nice hotel Great Location. The family and I had a wonderful time. The rooms were very clean and the service was great. It rained a little no problem the indoor/outdoor pool saved the day.

Biketoberfest 2006

The rooms and hotel overall were very pleasing. The quality of the food in restarants was subpar for the cost. The only thing that was a suprise for me and other guests was the additional cost of parking for motorcycles, trucks and trailers. We drove our bikes and paid $8 extra per night for parking, the cost for trucks and trailers was significant. This additional cost was not disclosed when reservations were made. The location was great for experiencing biketoberfest (adjacent to main street).
