We were disapointed to be in a totally different part of the resort complex from our friends. The restaurant is overpriced with a limited menu but good service. The view out back is nice of the lake and the marina. We spent every day, all day on the water in a boat. Starbucks coffee in the room was nice. We called for room service using the menu provided and were told they discontinued the room service due to liability????? WHat? It was a long walk to get breakfast and the buffet was very expensive, would have like to use the room service. I am not sure we would stay here again. Probably will stay in town where breakfast is included.

We stayed at this hotel during our grand tour of the "southwest". The hotel is low rise and set out into several seperate blocks. It is clean and the grounds are very well maintained. Limited variety of food and sometimes rather pushy waitress service. Pool can become rather crowded especially when a coach tour arrives but the view more than makes up for this minor setback. Please note this hotel is located in a National Park, therefore, you will require a pass to gain entry. (Fortunately, we had already purchased an Annual pass as we intended to visit severl parks on our holiday). Ideal for families with young//teenage children. Overall an enjoyable three night break in our somewhat hetic tour.

Had a wonderful stay! We stayed in their newly renovated Lakeview Room which was clean, and well-appointed. Despite the reviews, you need to book a Lakeview Deluxe Room. Service was friendly and helpful. We rented a houseboat and stayed at the hotel the night before. We will definitely come back again next year!

We were a little surprised by the park charge that increased our night stay by $15. The location was beautiful. However, our room faced the parking lot. We could only see a peek of the water. The cost/value ratio is what brings my traveler score to a three. The linens/decorations were outdated but clean. The bathtub had non-skid strips that were peeling up & appeared soiled. It was nice to have a large sliding glass door w/balcony. The coffee pot was visibly soiled. Good points: pet friendly (for an extra $20), Neutrogena products in the room; Bad point: no continental breakfast

We both enjoyed our trip very much. The room was spacious enough, the bed was much more comfortable than many other hotels I've stayed in, and I, personally enjoyed the food very much! They offered a breakfast buffett if you want or order from the menu and dinner was always good. We rented a 21' Baja Ski Boat and weren't too impressed but are spoiled by our own boat. This trip was, by the most part, to see if it was worth bringing our own boat back, and we both can't wait to go back again with our boat, and stay at the resort or rent a houseboat!
