Wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful stay! We stayed in their newly renovated Lakeview Room which was clean, and well-appointed. Despite the reviews, you need to book a Lakeview Deluxe Room. Service was friendly and helpful. We rented a houseboat and stayed at the hotel the night before. We will definitely come back again next year!

One nighter

We were a little surprised by the park charge that increased our night stay by $15. The location was beautiful. However, our room faced the parking lot. We could only see a peek of the water. The cost/value ratio is what brings my traveler score to a three. The linens/decorations were outdated but clean. The bathtub had non-skid strips that were peeling up & appeared soiled. It was nice to have a large sliding glass door w/balcony. The coffee pot was visibly soiled. Good points: pet friendly (for an extra $20), Neutrogena products in the room; Bad point: no continental breakfast

Great Fun

We both enjoyed our trip very much. The room was spacious enough, the bed was much more comfortable than many other hotels I've stayed in, and I, personally enjoyed the food very much! They offered a breakfast buffett if you want or order from the menu and dinner was always good. We rented a 21' Baja Ski Boat and weren't too impressed but are spoiled by our own boat. This trip was, by the most part, to see if it was worth bringing our own boat back, and we both can't wait to go back again with our boat, and stay at the resort or rent a houseboat!

It would have been nice if the pizza bar was open, as we drove into Page to eat dinner. During winter season, the views are not quite as dramatic. You are in the national park and with a lake front view, you can open your curtains and see the lake! There are nice rooms, better than what I stayed in at the Grand Canyon, and good amenities. TV channels were a bit diappointing, but if the weather would have been nicer, it would have been great. This is another area that could get pricey in summer months.
