GREAT STAY AND GREAT DEAL

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights after researching several hotels before booking. We had a great stay and room. We did want a smoking room and had to pay some additional money at check in but actually it worked out good because we had a higher up room with a great view so it was worth it. The room was a King and had plenty of space for the two of us. The bathroom is huge with seperate shower and toilet stalls and a great plus for our stay. We did use the mini fridge and had their complimentary coffee every morning. We liked the pool area which was never crowded and very clean. Everything in our room worked great TV, AC and etc. The view is beautiful and we loved being able to open the big windows in the mornings. Everyone we had interaction with at this hotel was great even the bellmen were never too busy to help us out with directions. We did rent a car for 2 days and found parking at the nearby marina for $6 a day--that is a plus-because the hotels charge up to $30 a day for parking. We thought we had a great location and could cut thru the lagoon at the hotel next door to get to the beach. We used the hotel shuttle several times to get to downtown and the drivers were all friendly and helpful. We did walk to the downtown area also and thought the walk was fine. This was our 2nd trip to Hawaii and we don't regret going back at all. I anticipate we will go again & stay here if we get this same deal.

The hotel Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki was a magnificant place. the view was awesome. All staff treated us as royality. The price is outstanding. The bed slept great with the new covers they are now using. (Down filled) Bell service, just fell all over theirself trying to be courteous. They got our rental cars, told us which shuttles to take which prices were best and to top it off the Restuarant upstairs was delicious and just as nice and courteous. Made some great friends among the staff. The pre cruise and post cruise experience was the best. wish we could say the same about the NCL cruise! Judy
My Favorite Hotel Near Ala Moana Center

I love this hotel, especially the decor of the room and the bathroom. The room hasn't changed much since I stayed here last year with my family. It is still decorated in light beige tones and the bathroom always looks beautiful. The bathroom is surrounded in marble tiles and the shower has a glass door which I adore. I always tell my husband that I want our bathroom to look like the bathrooms at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki. Our service was great from the bellmen to the Front Office Cashiers. The bellmen are always accommodating and friendly. They always ask how we are doing since they know my husband, my son and I (we come almost every year). When my husband checked in the Front Desk Cashier upgraded us to a room on a higher floor which was wonderful because our room had an awesome view of the harbor. Our hotel room was in the wing near the pool so we had a great view of the surfing spots from Waikiki to Ala Moana beach. There was nothing wrong with our room so we didn't complain about anything in the room. The housekeeping staff was great and came to our room every morning to clean it. My husband worked out at the fitness center which he said was in still great condition. There is a business center on the 5th floor where the pool is. There is a lovely cafe in the lobby that sells expresso and cappucino beverages. They have a gift shop in the lobby called Lamonts but it is quite expensive so I go to the ABC sundry store across the street. They will soon open a bar and lounge on the first floor in the empty store space directly across the cafe. If you want to go to Waikiki you can catch the hotel shuttle which runs back and forth to Waikiki every half hour free of charge. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful hotel if you travel to Oahu.
