This was my second stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it. The last time the hotel was undergoing a renovation that was well worth the wait. The lobby is beautiful. The entire facility was extremly clean and contemporary. The housekeeping staff was wonderful. The valet service could be better, I had to explan to the valet that I needed our car brought all the way to the door in the rain. He kept putting our car parelle to the canopy but not under it and telling me it was easier for him. Missing the point that valet is supposed to be easier for me. The televisions in the room couldl be updated to flat panels that would be and improvement. The microwave and mini=frig were a valuable asset to the rooms that has been removed They could have a more family friendly restaurant or other space available since they are in Tulsa, OK and there is not really alot in walking distance or to entertain a family. The rooms are by no means sound proof, we could hear the people next door clearly when ever they talked, we could hear the elevator, and anyone that was in the hallway which was a little annoying but because the guest exercised restraint it was bearable. For the price of the stay they business center usage should be complementary, instead it is $7.50 to start, and $.50 after the first 15 minutes.

Hotel is fine, just bring some earplugs

When we checked in our room, there were ear plugs on the nightstand. As downtown Tulsa in not full of nightlife, we could not imagine why we needed ear plugs. After 2 nights of listening to train whistles, I now understand. Bring your own plugs, as these did not do the job! The hotel itself is fine. The lobby is recently renovated and modern. Our room was also recently renovated and well furnished. We did have some drinks and appetizers at the hotel bar one night - both were good, but the drinks were ridiculously overpriced.

Every floor is being upgraded, Get high from the paint

Considering the construction, the bar/restaurant being closed & the hallways odor of wet paint ...it wasn't bad. The free shuttle to airport was very nice and the clean rooms are both reasons I'll be back.

The renovations have really ramped this place up on my list. I am very impressed with the investment they have made. Only semi-downside was the pool was being replaced so I had to go to the YWCA for my swim but met some great people there and ended up going to dinner with them. My experience started great with Cherie checking me with a great smile and sparkle that made my think, "She is really happy I am staying here" and Lori did a great job with all our special requests - she on the spot accomodating our traveling actor troupe - which you can appreciate are very demanding! Great job all - keep up the great work!

I took my sister to Tulsa for her birthday. We had a blast even though our hotel was less than inviting. Lots of road construction downtown made it difficult to reach. They will tell you they contract with the YMCA if you would like to swim.....! That night to avoid the road construction we decided to eat at the hotel. It was buffet style. We waited 30 minutes for them to place more plates out, food was over heated and had been out too long! The hostess commented loudly that the chocolate cake was REALLY good then announced she was going to have a piece for herself. She then made off with a piece and we didn't see her again. Earlier she had filled our water glasses w/ ice, spilled ice all over the table and scrapped it off on the floor. When we got the bill it was 15.00! For warm wilted lettuce from a bag, some mashed potatoes, and ice water. We should have took our chances with the road construction. The room doors were horribly dirty. I thought we might die in the ricketty elevators. However the manager was very nice when we were asking for directions. My sister and I laughed and joked about everything and made it a good weekend despite the poor hotel quality~
