Wonderful location. Right in the center of things. I had a problem with my AC in the room and was not accomodated until my last night. However, Peggie (Concierege, sp) and Edward (Bell Hop) were great!!

Peggy Terzides, the concierge was the most efficient and pleasant person we have ever dealt with at any hotel of any rating. Whatever they pay her is probably half what she's worth. The hotel was lovely and I liked that it was just off the Magnificent Mile. Chicago is a beautiful city. We'll be back.

I have stayed at all of the Holiday Inn / Crown Plaza hotels in the Chicago area because I travel in for Cubs games and this is by far my favorite within the chain. The people were very friendly, the room was great, and they went way out of their way to help us out. Only negative I can say is if you do not sleep well you should request a room away from the L because it probably will keep you up at night.

Great location by the art museum. Warned by other reviews, we asked for a quiet room, and it was very quiet and comfortable. Features quiet air conditioning, a big bathroom, and a comfy bed with pile of pillows. Would recommend for other site-seeing couples.

We stayed here while we visited the Taste of Chicago and the Navy Pier Fireworks. This was a very convenient location. The hotel was very nice and clean. I didn't care for the lobby setup. It didn't resemble a lobby. In addition the bar is not owned by the hotel and they will not allow you to take a drink back to your room. The rooms were nice but the EL is loud! Probably would not stay there again.
