The Nassau Inn is the 'Old Glory' hotel of Princeton (it was founded in 1756). It's located right near the gates of Princeton University, and you pay for the location. It's extraordinarily expensive, and the usual residents are rich parents of students or businessmen. This is defnitiely not a casual hotel. I would suggest looking into less expensive hotels located on Route 1 just a short driving distance from Princeton, such as the Marriot.
