Best in OKC

  • 5 out of 5 stars by Frank Lopez from Jacksonville, Florida
  • July 8, 2009
Quote: Without a doubt the best hotel in OKC. I have stayed at them all, and now I only stay at the Renaissance. The hotel managmenet and staff are totally commited to the guests and they know you by name. The restaurant and bar may be the best in OKC. The food is great. I know they have a new chef and I have never eaten food this good. The rooms are new and re-done and always clean. This is the BEST hotel in OKC.

Great experience

Quote: Best hotel service that we had ever had. We had two separate rooms, TVs in both (flatscreens), brought crib right up, bell hop gave us his cell # if we needed anything else. Offered free limo service to bricktown. Pool was great....kids loved elevator ride (glass), TV, & pool the most. Too expensive to eat in restaurant though (with 4). Would highly recommend.

Horrible

  • 1 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • December 1, 2008
Quote: the first night we stayed there was okay. The second night was awful. they assumed we were a mr and mrs which was highly offensive then, they showed the OU game in the bar area and allowed the people in the bar to scream and yell till midnight. we had a 7:00am flight and had to be up at 4:00am. we complained twice the manager called and said we could move rooms. right get up get dressed re-pack and move rooms, they just kept telling us it was an important game. we paid a pretty hefty room price to stay there so we could get a good night sleep. also the tvs in this hotel do not work, we had two different rooms cause our stay was not back to back, and neither room had a working tv.

child sick

Quote: Our daughter got sick and we wanted to leave in the middle of the night and they could not figure out how to check us out. Have you had a sick 2 year old trying to get home? It was terrible! The rooms are not much to brag about.

very upset

  • January 29, 2007
Quote: I did not get the room that I reserved and I was not credited for the room I got. I had to wait an hour and half for my room. I was very disappointed. I expected more than what I got. What I paid for was not what I got.

Updated Rooms Needed

Quote: It's a very nice property; very convenient to downtown venues; but the rooms have a dated feel to them, especially for the price.

Poor Service

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • June 28, 2006
Quote: For a four-star rated hotel the service we received from the front desk staff and manger was very poor (however room service, maintenance and restaurant staff were very pleasant). My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and were disappointed. The hotel has an excellent location and clean rooms but provides terrible service. Unless they can improve their customer service I would not recommend this hotel over nearby low cost hotels.

Renaissance Oklahoma City Convention Center Hotel

  • 5 out of 5 stars by stearns from mobile, Alabama
  • August 3, 2004
Quote: What a thrill to enter this gorgeous lobby with trees, waterfalls, music, wonderful fresh smells, chandeliers, and courteous, helpful, friendly staff. Using a glass-enclosed elevator, we headed to our ninth-floor room to be treated to firm beds, wonderful pillows, plenty of room in the room and bathroom, closet space, all the amenities of a real hotel. And the STAFF- we called the desk twice for things we needed and they were there almost before we hung up the phone! AMAZING!!! As frequent travellers, I was SURE this type of service didn't exist anymore- WRONG! Everything about this weekend experience was SUPERB!
