Description: The hotel was very easy to get to by following the directions on their website. They had great directions, but there was some road construction on the way to the hotel that caused some delays at times. The hotel was off the main road in a business area, so there were several tall office buildings around. The area felt safe, and there was plenty of parking at the hotel. It was located between many of the sites we wanted to see in Nashville, but not really close to anything. It was about 5 miles from downtown and about 5 miles from the Opry Mills area.
Upon entering the hotel, the staff was very friendly. We arrived at noon and we were allowed to check in even though check in time isn’t until 4pm. The lobby was neat and clean and there was a stream of water running though the downstairs part of the hotel and plants everywhere, it was really nice and relaxing. There was also a lounge area that served complimentary drinks daily from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Then they began charging for drinks. There was a restaurant that was open for lunch and dinner, and they also served a free cooked breakfast there. The breakfast included omelets cooked the way you wanted, sausage, bacon, cereal, sweet rolls, fruit, juices, coffee, milk, scrambled eggs, yogurt, and also other items that varied daily. One day there was a breakfast casserole, biscuits, and gravy and pancakes and the other day they had biscuits and gravy, and a hash brown casserole. There was also a game room, indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna, and gift shop in the downstairs area. There was also an area in the lobby that had a computer with internet for the guests to use and a sitting area. The computer was being used every time we went by there though.
The hotel had four glass elevators leading up to the rooms. The center was completely open from the top to the bottom of the hotel so you could look down and see the bottom area from any floor. Our room was a corner room on the third floor. Inside the room there was an area with a TV, chair, sofa bed, end tables, a small dining table and chairs. There was also a sink, small refrigerator, and microwave. Then, there was another doorway and the closet and bathroom were next. The closet doors were a full-length mirror. The bathroom was fine but not very big. Next was the bedroom, with your choice of one king or two double beds. It had armoire with a TV, and a nightstand and desk in this room.
The hotel met our needs and I would stay there again. It was one of very few hotels I found in Nashville that offered suite rooms, a free breakfast, restaurant, and indoor pool. The price was also not bad for everything we got. It was cheaper than many of the downtown hotels.
