cigarette smell in a non-smoking room; inconvenient

Unaccommodating manager (don't think that the front desk saying you can check out early without penalty means that you actually can...) If you have an early flight out, spend the last night at the Nice Aeroport, as buses, trains and the helicopter service don't begin service early enough to get you there in time (and cabs are ridiculously expensive.) The hotel was not conveniently located. Cabs to get around Monaco were readily available at other hotels, not at the Ambassador...

The hotel was easy to find, nice and helpful staff. They don't have beach access, only two hotels in Monte Carlo do, but they facilitated our using another hotel's beach access. The public beach was very nice too though if you don't want to pay.
