This property was due for serious renovation, 25 years ago.
Hotels in Kiev are generally very over priced due to lack of competition and high occupancy rates.
The location of this hotel is excellent but its so old, dated and worn. Seating in the lobby coffee shop is extremely uncomfortable and the hotel just feels very dated and worn out.
The staff are very nice and sweet and they are very helpful. Internet access is expensive.
Expect a worn out, hotel which if it was in Western Europe or Asis would have been totally renovated 25 to 30 years ago.
