My husband took me to Biltmore Estate for my birthday and we stayed here. yes they are remodeling but it is worth it, because the rooms are spectacular with color and comfort. Yes Asheville is a little drive down the road, but it is worth not being in the Busy district. There is a farmer's market nearby open year round and enough dining for the hungry. I rate it the best and I would definitely stay here again. Staff is nice, bathrooms are out of sight, bed the most comfortable I have ever slept in in my LIFE! Loved it!

Standard Holiday Inn Express .... Beds a little too hard and closet space nonexistant. Had to remove the hangers & ironing board to make room for our hanging clothes. They are remodeling the upper 3 floors so the situation may change. Laundry facility available to guests. Free breakfast was decent but the area lacked good restaurants close by & Asheville was 15-20 minutes away. Take out delivery from Chinese & Pizza places was available for tired travelers.

I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn very much. The front desk was extremely helpful. I called downstairs for some assistance and someone was sent up immediately. The breakfast was great, but the eating area was a little small. That is ok though because it was free breakfast. The bed was also very very comfortable and the room and bathroom very clean.
