My husband and I came to Ashville for a one night event. We didnt make reservations,so needles to say there were no rooms in Ashville at all. When we arived at the reaissance, they made us feel at home and worked very hard to find us a room. They did and we enjoyed the rest of our trip thanks to the smiling faces that are the Renaissance staff. Thanks Guys

If you suffer from mold or mildew allergies, DO NOT STAY HERE! Rooms are nicely appointed, but are ridden with mold. My whole family was sick within a few hours and cut our stay short after one night.

We have stayed at the hotel several times as there are not a lot of options in the downtown Asheville area. Easy walk to everything. Service is pretty good, but there were hairs scattered all of the bathroom - in the soap dish, on the floor, and on the shower walls. Also, have to pay for internet and the room service food is very mediocre.
