The Breakers Palm Beach

"The Breakers" is one of the most opulent hotels in Palm Beach! With its perfectly manicured lawns, 5-star restaurants, and lavish decor, it is easy to see why the rich and famous often visit this hotel.

Right off of the lobby, there is an area where photos of famous celebrities are posted. Obviously, these are photos of people that have stayed at the hotel, or attended functions there. Many of the pictures included Donald and Ivana Trump, among others.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by an attentive valet and friendly doorman. The bellman quickly whisked our luggage to our room while we proceeded to check in.

Our rooms were absolutely beautiful! The decor was a kind of "old world luxury". Soft pastels washed over the living room and into the bedrooms. We enjoyed plush king-sized beds and large marble bathrooms, which featured the hotel's namebrand line of bath products..."Sunflowers".

We had room service our first night. The server who brought our food, was dressed in a tuxedo! The drinks were served in crystal glassware, and we ate off of fine china and silver flatware. (The funny thing is that I only ordered pizza!)

The grounds of this hotel are perfectly manicured. Everything is spotless! In front of the hotel is a long patio which features large wicker rocking chairs. One morning, we sat here and watched some of the other guests playing croquet on the front lawn.

The pool area is large and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The pool is surrounded with private cabanas that you can rent. There is also an outdoor restaurant right near the pool, so you can have breakfast or lunch without having to go inside the main hotel.

My mother and I took a stroll to the surrounding neighborhoods and admired the massive homes. We then went shopping on Worth Avenue, which is like the Rodeo Drive of the East Coast! So many stores... not enough time!
(or money, for that matter). Later on that evening, we dined at "Nando's" restaurant. Located not far from the Breakers, Nando's had excellent Italian food!

If you are traveling to Palm Beach, I definitely recommend staying at "The Breakers". You will not be disappointed!

This hotel was amazing. Beautiful rooms and great service. We were upgraded for free to a superior suite with ocean and pool views. We ate at the Seafood Bar and the food and service were excellent. I will definately go back.
