Not worth the money

I reserved a 2 bedroom suite and got a standard hotel room with a small couch--no suite in site. I'm not sure why suite is in the name since they're only hotel rooms. While this was a nice enough hotel, at $$ per night it was hopelessly overpriced. It is comparable to a Comfort Inn or Sleep Inn. Simple rooms, a so-so breakfast--nothing special. Also, this hotel was in West Glenwood, not in downtown Glenwood Springs where the activities and attractions are.

Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights and had an awesome experience. You need to know that Clarion is actually Glenwood Suites which is across from the Quality Inn, both hotels are combined, you can use the pool at Quality Inn and have the underground parking at the Glenwood Suites. We had a great customer service by all staff. The only thing to say negatively is only that at 6 a.m. in the morning, I had to call the front desk to call the room above us to tell them to be quiet, it wasn't so much that the walls are thin but they were being very loud walking around, I think there were kids just jumping.

We stayed on August 21 with a family group-7 adults, after riding the train from Denver. We arrived late and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, even providing transportation. The rooms were spacious and clean--everything looked new. Everything about the place exceeded our expectations, and everyone on the staff was very kind and helpful. The area was quiet and bus service was available when the staff called for a pickup. The hotel is a distance from the hot springs, but this was not a problem for us. We highly recommend this hotel, and plan to stay there whenever we are in the area.
Exactly what we wanted.

The property was everything we hoped for.We missed breakfast....The Hot Springs , Vapor Caves and Cave tour were close by and we recomend them all. Plenty or good places to eat within 5-10 minutes. The sheets were very soft and comfortable, and the down pillows just the right size. Much more comfortable than the new Hyatt in Denver at half the price.
Friendly staff and manager as well.
Very Nice Hotel, I would highly recommend it.

The motel is brand new and very nice. It was spotless, well appointed and the staff was great, especially the manager. He went out of his way to make sure that all of his guests were happy and well taken care of. The breakfast was nice with lots of choices. There isn't a pool on site which was a negative but if you walked across the parking lot you could use the sister hotels next door. Overall, a very nice hotel!
