Description: Could there be a better location? We looked out over Union Station, which we were connected to by the Link.

We were part of Crown Center, which includes lots of shops and restaurants and is attached through Halls Department Store to the Hallmark Visitor Center. Kansas City spread out before us, and we felt right at the pulse of everything. We had an unbelievable leisure rate of $89, plus $14 for valet parking.
Our room was stunning. It was on the 17th floor, which, if you took the right elevators, you got to ascend the outside of the building, which had spectacular views.

The king-size bed was covered in a crisp white-feather bed with more large white-feather pillows than we could have used. We are quite jaded really, but this was especially nice; it looked so clean.
We had a large bathroom with a great tub and loads of water pressure. The amenities in the room were good too, with nice aloe vera soap

and a terry robe in the closet. There was also fridge full of goodies (for a price of course).
My only grip is that they provide you with a coffee pot, but it’s $2 a pot to buy the coffee. Come on !!
Wait until you see the view from our room. We left the curtains open most of the time.

The hotel has two restaurants and a bar. We never ate there, though. Since the hotel is connected to the Crown Center with all its varied dining options, we choose to eat at the Crown Center.
This is a really nice hotel, and the staff was helpful and friendly. What they could use is a good map for the concierge to give out. The one he gave us to go to Swope Park was pitiful; it was a copy of a copy of a copy and left us stranded midtown.
