Very clean & spacious room. The cheap room I had still had a great view of the mountains. The only down side was I could hear the kids running in the halls. There was a kids hockey tournament that weekend in Lake Placid.

This was one of 5 places we stayed on our trip through New England and New York and it was by far the best! We had the most comfortable king size bed, it was extremely quiet (a family with three small children across the hall, and not a single sound came in), and everything was clean, updated and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the new wing and the room was amazing. Fireplace,Jacuzzi,,Flat screen T.V.and a balcony.The hotel is in the heart of town.About 15 minutes from Whiteface Mtn.There was alot of hockey kids there but they were on the other side of the hotel.Overall we had an incredible time. I was skiing in fresh powder in early April,what more could I ask for?

Our stay was most comfortable. The room was spacious and was provided with all of the amenities any traveler would need!

The plus side is the location and the staff is very helpful. The negative side you need to know is that 22 out of 52 week-ends cater to kids. So if you can muster kids running down the hall till 11:00pm playing "hotel tag", taking over the pool and jacuzzi you might like it that time. The staff understood and gave us a key to the sauna. They had to lock it because every weekend there were kids, they ended up breaking the switches. Parents....please be kind to other adults and control your kids.!!!! I really fault the parents and not the kids in this situation.
