THE BEST HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I traveled to Monterey in the month of July and stayed at this beautiful resort for 5 nights. We were planning to stay for only 3 nights but the atmosphere allowed us to stay an extra two nights. From the moment we walked into the hotel, the hospitality was nothing but exceptional.. The whole staff was friendly, courteous, and gave very informative advice on where to visit during our stay. The one thing we noticed at this resort is that the staff consider their guests as their number one priority. They go out of their way to make your stay as comforting as possible. The new renovations made at the resort made our stay more enjoyable, especially the restaurant, called TusCA ristorante. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was excellent. Our room was clean, comfortable, and most importantly, quiet. We have no complaints about this resort. We plan to stay here on every occasion that brings us to Monterey and recommend this hotel/resort to anyone that visits the area and is looking for a place to relax. You are guaranteed to take back with you a lot of memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had done a great deal of research regarding the hotels surrounding the Monterey Bay Aquarium and noticed that there were many "unhappy" comments about a lot of the places there. So I decided to try the Hyatt because of their reputation despite the reviews I had read on this site. First...Im a hotel snob when it comes to cleanliness and comfort. We were so happy with this hotel! The beds were VERY comfortable, the staff was friendly and the grounds were lovely. While this is not within walking distance it is a very short drive to the wharf and the aquarium and the roads to the wharf/aquarium are very clearly marked. The rooms were beautifully appointed and updated. The only thing that I would have counted as a negative (but really...this wasnt that bad) is that our room was facing a courtyard on the third floor and we could hear the freeway traffic pretty well if we opened the balcony door. I did notice there were some rooms that actually overlooked the freeway... I can say that I wouldnt want any of those rooms. It is probably pretty loud. Id imagine they reserve the really nice rooms facing the golf course for the clients that are paying full price. This hotel appeared full the night we stayed. Id recommend checking in as early as possible (we checked in at 1p) to get a room away from the freeway. We stayed in August and the weather was fantastically cool. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is worth every penny. It is located on a beautiful golf course. The hotel staff is friendly and the rooms were beautiful and clean. The hotel has everything from golf to in room massages. If you are looking for a romantic fun filled weekend, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Our stay(wife and daughter along with me) in Monterey at the Hyiatt was very nice and very comfy. The girls saw Del Monte Mall from Highway One exit before ours to the hotel coming in from Carmel, Iknew where the girls were getting ready for, while I got ready to meet some of my fellow Veterans / and past classmate from Naval Post Graduate School. Food in Monterey is still some of the best in the world.
