If your traveling on a budget or even if you just wanna save some money, stay here! This hotel was centrally located. Lots of things were in walking distance such as restraunts, beach and strip club. The room was nice, kind of small but other than that no complaints. The pool is really tiny and doesnt get much sun. I would def. stay here again.
A dingy, depressing end to a nice family trip

We had just come back from a sailing vacation in the British Virgin Islands, and decided to break up the long trip home with an overnight in PR. After a week on a Catamaran, we were all looking forward to long hot showers, a soft bed and some creature comforts.Because this is a Holiday Inn we weren't expecting anything fancy -- just a place to rest, watch a little TV and clean up before our 7 am flight the next morning -- but this hotel gave us all the heebie-jeebies from the moment we stepped in the dingy, bare-bones lobby. From the peeling silver duct tape along the floor of the elevator to the dirty, poorly-lit hallways to the slightly rumpled bed linens (did anyone change them?) to the crumbling calking and dark hairs in the bathroom (we are a family of blondes), we were all thoroughly skeeved-out. I feel that all you can reasonably expect from a Holiday Inn is for it to be very clean and fairly comfortable. This was neither. The only good thing I can say is that the receptionist was friendly and professional: she gave us directions to a decent local restaurant that stayed open late, and when we discovered that our room had no shampoo, someone came up with a few bottles within 5 minutes. This property is only 3 miles from the airport, which was the major reason we chose it, but there are many other hotels just as close. The Comfort Inn across the street looked much nicer. Whatever you do, don't stay here -- even the taxi drivers were laughing knowingly as we came grimacing out of the lobby the next morning.

Check in was fast and easy. The hotel and our room was very clean every day, the beds comfortable, the hallways quiet. The towels were great! Breakfast was more than expected. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is excellent. Taxis were always available out front and the drivers were all pleasant and informative. Great restaurants nearby. Free internet was a plus. I will stay here again. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise.

My husband and I stayed here prior to our cruise. What a nice surprise that this hotel is one block away from the beach! Bus stop to go to Old San Juan also one block away. Hotel room was very clean, closet is very small and not easily accessed, bed comfortable, breakfast good with hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, cereals, fruits, pastries. We would stay here again.

Room was not large, but was very comfortable. Great bed with 4 good pillows. Found a little Italian pizza restaurant a little over a block away that had an ample menu of non-pizza selections and surprisingly good food. Taxis stationed right in front of the hotel with curteous drivers who will take you to El Moro, etc. Avis car rental office right around the corner and the vehicle lot is right across the street from the hotel. Talk about convenient. We rented an economy car and drove to Ponce for three days, then delivered the car back at the airport. Helpful staff at Front Desk. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
