This must be the worst hotel in las vegas

We ordered a deluxe room. I had to call to have them bring the refridgerator in. It took the water about 20 minutes to go down the drain in the tub. We were given a room in the North tower. Only 2 of the 6 elevators were working while we were there Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Average wait time for the elevators was 10 minutes. The janitorial staff's elevator was one of the ones not working, so you had to share the elevator with carts of dirty laundry. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel needs MAJOR repairs. Everything was old and in disrepair or graffitteed.
STAY AWAY FROM THE PLAZA

This hotel is going to get torn down in the near future, so they are not putting anymore money into it. I've stayed in some bad hotels, but this one was the worse. Faucets did not work. A/C actually shut down and overheated. We moved to another room, and it was just as nasty. The water would not drain from the shower, so it would stay in the tub for about an hour. It is a cheap hotel, but it is not worth the trouble. There are plenty of other hotels on Fremont street you can stay at. I ended up moving to the Golden Nugget, where everything was great. The Four Queens should also be fairly nice. Save yourself some grief, and do not stay at the Plaza!

When we left my husband gave a long list to the manager of our complaints .
hoping that maybe the next persons stay in the room would be better than ours. We will never return.

I booked a room a month in advance. Agent stated I would get a room that had just been renovated and face the Vegas Strip. Arrived and received an older room right across from Freemont Street. Paid $ 1st night and $ next two night and the room was crap. Hotel carpeting was taped down with with duct tape thruout lobby and hotel. South tower had 6 elevators but only 2 worked the entire time I was there, staff seemed unconcerned about the problem.
The business meeting was for approx 100 people, scheduled breakfast was supposed to be delivered to the table but was set up as a buffet instead. Hospitality suite that was booked had people living in it and the manager had to change the room 3 times before we were able to set up hospitality suite.
Over all I would say if you want a cheap place to crash if you are partying on Freemont street then fine, otherwise I would avoid this place at all costs.
Excellent

Excellent location, clean rooms, great service. Its not the Hilton but for what you pay and the great atmosphere I rate this place an A+ and would never stay anywhere else. upon check in I asked for a freemont street view and it was not a problem plus they give you free tickets to see the show Viva Las Vegas which was excellent!!!!!
