Description: Perhaps one of my bizarre experiences about hotels was in the Hotel Plaza & Casino in Las Vegas. I had to go for my work to Las Vegas and everything was arranged from flight to hotel.

Arrival

I arrived late at night at the hotel after having a horrible flight and being tired. You would think everyone is sleeping but of course this is Las Vega is everywhere are plenty of people and things going on. The hotel is in downtown Las Vegas and there were two people behind the desk. Also a lot of people in the casino and it was like 2 o clock, I was tired and just wanted to sleep. Checking in went really easy and they pointed me towards the elevators which meant I had to walk through the casino bit. Since they have 8 elevators you never have to wait for long.

The room

The hotel has over 1000 rooms but my room was very easy to find. The room is fine. A typical American hotel room with two large double beds. With a "beautiful" flowers spread on the beds. They are very spacious. There is aTV and you can watch the bingo results. Quite a few stations and even a separate gamble channel where you get an explanation about the playing in the casino.
The bathroom was clean and large. With a bath and toilet. Air conditioning is available in the room.

Facilities

Everything runs in the first place to the casino but there are many other facilities such as gym, swimming pool and several restaurants and bars. Furthermore, the casino has a variety of shows, which provide them free for their guests. I saw a magician and some illustrious singing duo who also showed some dance moves. Disabled facilities are everywhere, from the rooms to the restrooms. There are even facilities for the hearing impaired.

There is even a beauty salon in the casino / hotel. People who go to a casino, sometimes have to eat. Well 24 hours a day you can eat here, from a simple snack to a dinner. In the buffet lucky 7 you can from 6 o clock in the morning until 4 o'clock in the afternoon brunch and dinner from 4 to 22.00 hours. There is a Deli Express and there is a place where you can enjoy a hamburger or even a cup of coffee and a croissant. You can have breakfast in various parts of a continental breakfast for $ 6 to a vegetarian breakfast for $ 7.99.

Similarly, your lunch and your dinner of a half chicken cost 9.99 and for a steak and salmon $ 18 or $ 26. Coffee for 1.99 and 2.99 for órange juice. Oh, before I forget, there is even a separate wedding chapel at this hotel, or should I say casino. Because the tradition of Las Vegas is the wedding anyway.

Price

For the price you should not resist. In this hotel you can sleep well at excellent prices. It is a typical hotel-casino. They want people coming into the casino and have good deals on rooms. The hotel is more a teaser. In the weekend the hotel is the busiest and of course more expensive. For a room, you pay between 40 to $ 75 per night without breakfast during the week. On weekends the same room about double that price.

Conclusion

For gamblers paradise on earth and in the hotel rooms are affordable and well maintained.
For me it was weird, because I was here for my work. But it has something. The hotel is an experience I will never forget. And if you do not like gambling, then I recommend you do a day trip to the Grand Canyon!
