Not what we expected

We had to walk through ankle deep grass to get to a run down kids play area.Sidewalks are very uneven and dangerous.Buildings are old and run down, wallpaper is peeling off the walls. Furniture is old and in terrible condition. This place has no personality.Menue at the Bristro has no prices.....always scary for the average family vacation.Overpriced and disappointing to say the least.Stay at a chain hotel.

Netherlands Inn and Spa

The rooms at the Netherlands are not incredibly large, but quite welcoming. Most include two queen-size beds, a mini refrigerator, a television, a desk, air-conditioning, and a washroom and powder room. The grounds are gorgeous, with flowers all over the property. There are chair swings and benches around the property for sitting and enjoying the tranquility of such a resort. I have not been to the on-site spa, but I hear that it is fabulous. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the Inn's talking parrot welcomes you. A hearty breakfast is provided buffet style each morning (no extra charge) to get you ready for the day's activities. The Inn also has a nice (warm) outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna room, and exercise room. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay, one which I recommend.
