Great room

I was very pleased with this hotel for the comfort and location. I was grateful when i checked in that they went the extra mile to get me into a non smoking room. I have children and that is important to me. I was unhappy though to hear I had to pay $10 a day extra to park there. I chose the hotel for the price being only $5 more than a smaller hotel in not so good of an area - so instead of only paying $10 more for my two night stay it ended up being $30 more. That was my only negative point.
Great location for events at Oracle Arena/McAfee stadium

We attended a concert at the Oracle arena. Hotel is convenient to both airport and arena. If we hadn't driven to the wine country we wouldn't have needed a car. They offer shuttle service to the airport and the Arena when events are going on.
Staff was very good, especially Y at the Bar. While we didn't order anything to eat, the food looked very good.
Rooms are clean and quiet, good value for the money. Be aware that some rooms are in separate buildings; request Building #1 if you don't like that. All buildings are secure.

We bookeed a room for 5 and online travel agency only booked it for two. The hotel was able to switch us to a room for 4 and one on the floor.
Convenient with Fun Gameroom

We were overall pleased with our stay. Fantastic game room with a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and TV lounge that we loved. Rooms were average size, clean nicely decorated. The bathroom was on the small side. There is free shuttle service to the airport and to the A's game. There is a large sports themed bar that is great. Only complaint is that the service in the restaurant at breakfast was very slow. Food was good once we got it. Servers were friendly and helpful but there were not enough of them to properly service the restaurant. Would stay again if in the Oakland area.
