Pier House Resort and Caribbean Spa was excellent on all levels. The staff was phenomenal even before we arrived. The Concierge Todd Berlin made great reservations for us ahead of time for activities while we were in Key West. Our room (Caribbean Spa) was absolutely fabulous: spacious and clean with a great balcony for reading and lots of comfy chairs even a flat screen TV in the bathroom. The spa services were very good and well priced for a resort and again the spa staff was stellar. We ate at the Harbourview Cafe for breakfast and the Beach Bar and Grille multiple times during our stay. Food was great and well priced and again the staff was excellent. We had a great time and would definitely stay at Pier House again.

We loved this recently remodeled hotel. It had such a nice island feel to it. The location was great since we were right on Duval street and could walk to everything. The hotel is situated so you are away from the noise of Duval St. The hotel has it's own private beach and a great heated pool and spa. We loved our room with a balcony looking over the greenery surrounding the pool area. The staff was pleasant and always helpful. We enjoyed room service and the onsite restaurant.
Very nice hotel in perfect location!

Hotel was a nice size with small beach for hotel guest and pool as well as two hot tubs, (one located near gym and other near pool). This is a wonderful location, never need to drive anywhere. Bed was pretty comfortable, room was clean and recently renovated. The staff was very helpful and I will stay here again for sure!! We were there off season and the hotel food options were not as exciting as the many incredible places near it. The gym is ver cramped, it seems like they jammed way to much equiptment into a small space.
Wonderful!

When we come back to Key West, this would be our only choice of places to stay.

No doubt the Pier House has one of the best locations in town. I looked at a couple of rooms when I got there and chose a spa room -- although it was not harbor or pool view I preferred the privacy, large room size, large bathroom, and a porch over the whole length of the room with 2 sets of double doors giving it a true island feel. If you like it sunny, take a parking lot view and second floor, and a room on the left side of the stairs (further away from Front Street). I know "parking lot" doesn't sound like a great view but there is a whole lot of vegetation and barely any traffic. Only "disturbance" are the roosters :-)
Negative: (1) the wireless internet connection didn't work in the room and no alternative connection option. (2) As the refrigerator in the room is not stocked, I would expect the hotel to provide a large bottle of water as a courtesy, esp if you're arriving late and can't shop anymore.
