This was our 2nd home while, working in Bulgaria, the staff knew us by our first names after the first stay. They were always very courteous and most helpful, and concerned when my wife was slightly ill, they called to check on her. The food was the most western that we could find in the city. The location is great near cafes and shopping and theatres. The security was very good. Again we cannot say enough about the staff, we have stayed in many hotels across europe and they are the best we have encountered anywhere!

Normally I don't have time to write reviews but because I was impressed with this hotel I figured I'd make the time. The location was walking distance from decent shopping (little pricey) but after the shopping there were some nice restaurants where four people could eat and enjoy a few adult bevarages for under the equivalent of 50 U.S. dollars.

The hotel felt brand new and the room furnishings were lovely though limited in size. The breakfast buffet had great choices. During the evening the bar staff were friendly and piano player OK. The hotel is a bit of a walk to some of the main shopping areas, but you can get there within 10 minute walk. There is an indoor shopping mall nearby in case you need basic supplies.
