The whole country is gorgeous. The accomodations were very good. We enjoyed fishing in the Mangroves and the mangrove tour at Isla Damas near Quepos. Manuel Antonio is a great park. Snorkelling is quite good at the third beach. The beach near Pueblo Real is great. The canopy tour at Quepos was very good. The beaches near Dominical and Uvita are great. The tour we took to Corcovado was good (the guides could have been better). Monteverde was great. The roads were quite bad. The sky walk at near Monteverde was very good. We saw a multitude of animals including, Toucans, Macaws, Mot Mots, Lots of Monkeys, (squirrel, white faced capucchians and howlers), Crocodiles, Agoutis, Kinkajous, Coati Mond...Read More

Excellent. The gardens were amazing. They go on forever and are extremely well maintained. It is about 15 minutes from the airport in a little town with not much else around. The restuarant is good but fairly expensive. The pool is great.

Canopy Tour

Attraction

The tour was very good. It was booked through the Condo and cost $65.00 per person. It took about 30 minutes to drive to the sight. We climbed to the first platform and after a short lesson and demo were off. We travelled on 6 different zip lines, the longest was about 600 ft. The scenery was great but it wasn't a wildlife tour (too much screaming). Overall very enjoyable. After the tour we stopped for lunch (included in the tour). Therefore, the price was reasonable for what you received.

An excellent tour run by Chino (Chino Tours) and his son Diego. They are located at the floating restaurant by the condo. Deigo is very knowledgeable for his age. He calls the monkey to the boat and they eat out of your hand. There are two groups that we saw. They are white-faced capucins. We also saw boas, herons, egret, crabs and lots of mangroves.

We saw numerous birds and other animals. The flora and fauna in Costa Rica was amazing. I have included 4 of my best photos. Monteverde is a birders paradise, many people go their just for bird watching.
