Overview

The absolute best part of the "Playas del Coco" is the three magnificent beaches that it consists of. Playa Hermosa to the north and Playa Ocotal to the south surround Playa del Coco, a quaint little fishing village with tons of good restaurants and great nightlife.

Quick Tips:

Playa Hermosa has the best swimming out of these three. Its "Blue Flagged" by the government which means its passed safety tests and health tests.

Best Way To Get Around:

The best way to get to these three beaches is by taxi. Although, Playa Ocotal is only a 4km hike down the road versus 7km to Hermosa.

This place as an amazing atmosphere. It rests above a travel shop. It gives you a great view from the open patio that goes around the bar. Some nights there is a live DJ and that's always good. He always spins house, trance... etc. It makes for a good time. They have a pool table and an average size dance floor. Its a great place to meet with people or meet new people. Check it out for yourself.
