Who Wants To Be A Mouseketeer?

Overview

Quote:
We stayed for a week and had one of the best vacations. We never left the resort. The best attraction was the Tower of Terror. Three 13-story drops in about 10 seconds (don't eat before you ride). Quick Tips: Stay inside the resort, as it allows you to enter the parks earlier than the public. We encountered virtually NO lineups to any of the rides or attractions the entire week that we were there. We entered the parks 90 minutes early, which allowed us to go on all the 'popular' attractions right away. The accommodations were pretty plain, but we only paid $79 a night. We got a king-sized bed, t.v., and refrigerator. Our building was next to the main building where the food court and shuttle stops were located. And as mentioned before, if you stay on-site (i.e., in a Disney hotel), you get free shuttle service and early entry to the parks.

We also got to see what happens behind some of the rides and attractions, walk through the wardrobe department, and the parade staging area. Also, you must be at least 16 years old to go on this tour. I think that Disney doesn't want to traumatize any kids that might see Mickey with his head off. The tour guide was helpful in explaining all the illusions that make Disneyworld seem like such an artificial realit...Read More
