Quick Tips:

St. Michaels is on the water and can experience some rather bone-chilling winds during the spring, fall, and winter. Dress in layers along with wind protection. The summer can be quite hot and sultry - so be prepared to sweat as the temperature climbs.

Best Way To Get Around:

St. Michaels is a small, quaint town located on Maryland's eastern shore. Since the town is compact, almost all shops, the Chesapeake Maritime Museum, and dining establishments are easily reached on foot or by bike. Bring a car if you must - it will be a necessity if you want to go to Tilghman's Island for a schooner ride. Or you may chose to whirl in on your own helicopter, utilizing the helipad at The Inn at Perry Cabin.
