Coney Island has three things to do:
Walk on the board walk, and enjoy the arcades, games, and eateries which are indigenous to the theme park atmosphere - like corn dogs, ice cream, or Nathan's Coney Island Original World Famous hot dogs.
The next thing is to go to the beach. The beach is mediocre, as are most beaches in the Northeast- but maybe worth a visit.
Third, but definitely not least, is the amusement park. This park used to be the center, mecca, and stronghold of theme parks and amusement.
