You absolutely have to visit the pubs and listen to Irish musicians playing traditional Irish music. This seemed to be at the heart of the Irish culture. The young Irish singing along to the Irish songs makes you feel that you've stepped into a tightly woven community richer than any to which you've ever belonged. Similar to a fraternity/sorority, but on a national scale. It's beautiful to experience. Try to meet the Irish people and spend time with them as much as possible. If it's rainy/hazy/windy - you might want to go to the Cliffs another day. We went on a day that was all three and could barely make it up the walkway, we were fighting gale force winds and beating rain. Once we got to a point that we could even barely make out the cliffs, it was so freezing we decided to turn and run back to the car. We were told it was too beautiful to be missed though.
