Cheap Fun in Vegas Best of IgoUgo

Overview

Quote:
The big beautiful casino hotels (Paris, Bellagio, the Rio) are great places to visit, but if you are traveling on a budget, I don't recommend staying at one. Instead, check out the Casino Royale, or stay and play at downtown Fremont Street.

Quick Tips:

The Casino Royale is my favorite place to stay. It has a great location on Strip, cheap tables, Dennys, Subway, and TCBY open 24-hours, and free margaritas for tourists.

Best Way To Get Around:

On my last trip, my group of friends rented a taxi. It cost us per hour (alcohol not included) and was a great way to relax and have fun without spending more money at the tables/slots.

Casino Royale is a great budget if you want to stay on the Strip. It is located between Harrah''s and the Venetian so you can easily walk to any club or show. Casino Royale''s rooms are standard, smoking or non with a king or two double beds. The rooms are clean and not noisy. There is a mini bar and a safe in each room. Additionally, there is a Denny restaurant, Subway, and TCBY attached to this hotel, which is great for eating cheap.

PF Chang's Aladdin Hotel & Casino Best of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "P. F. Chang's"

Quote:
P.F. Chang's has been worked into my Las Vegas ritual. On the second day of my stay (when I am inevitably hung over), I wake up and head down to the Aladdin to eat lunch at P.F. Chang's. P.F. Chang's has delicious food, all of which tastes even better when you order up a bottle of champagne.

Fremont Street Experience Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Fremont Street"

Quote:
My favorite casino on Fremont Street is La Bayou. There are only slots and video poker/blackjack available to play here (no tables). La Bayou has a great, party atmosphere, with waitresses who bring you drinks non-stop. You can also by yard-long daiquiris in any flavor here, and get complimentary Mardi Gras beads upon entry.

Clubs In Vegas Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Clubs I've been to in Vegas"

Quote:
There are a few clubs that I've enjoyed visiting when I'm in Vegas. These are The Beach (super fun place to go where the drinks are cheap and the place gets packed with singles, and sometimes even a bachelorette party or two), Studio 54 (at the MGM - has a slightly "older" crowd with more expensive drinks. The music here is good and the change up the styles of music often within a set), the Joint (at the Hard Rock is the best place EVER to see a concert period).
