Best Way To Get Around:

The best way to go there is to use a car. From Paris take the N118 to "Pont de Sevre". Then take the A10 toward Chartres and exit at Saclay. Then folow the N306 and D906 toward Chevreuse. Then the castle direction is well indicated.

The castle is full of wax statues, mainly of the "chat botté". The visit is done by a guide who guides a full group and explains the story of the house. The main piece of the visit is the Teschen Table which is a really luxury table.

$10 for the Park and castle
$6 for the Park only
The Garden is full of wax statues. Those statues will awaken the child inside you, the old story that granny was telling to you. This is one of the best places to go with the young children. You can also enjoy the French garden to picnic. Or you can get lost in the Alice in Wonderland labyrinth.
