This is a fairly nice pub in the tourist area of Prague. I went there around midday, but still the atmosphere was quite nice. The staff speaks english and you can drink a nice variety of beer. I even bought a Kilkenny glass. Nothing extravagant here, but a great place to relax from Praha's busy summer streets.

The food is bad. Then again, it's normal for a steak cooked 45 minutes prior to service to be bad. They had the nastiest service ever! It took them 20 minutes just to come and see if we wanted something. And then another 30 before they came up with cold food! Also, this is one of the most expensive places we ate in Prague but it's REALLY not worth it. And not only with tourists. My brother with his czech wife went there and got similar treatment.. Just avoid it!

Charles Bridge

Attraction | "Karluv Most (Charles Bridge)"

Take a walk on Karluv Most (Charles Bridge) where you`ll find a lot of ex-pat`s and artists selling all kinds of art. You get wondefull pictures of the city for less than 5-10 dollars and all sorts of crafts. Also it offers a beautiful view of the Palace on top of the hill. (Pass by again later at night to see the palace lit up!)

In Prague, you'll find a LOT of museums. Some giving tribute to local figures of great talent or influence. Some focusing on history (like the jewish museum) and some that are just odd like the torture museum (located a few steps from Charles bridge.) Some are a bit on the expensive side but most are very inexpensive. Personally I find seeing art in Canada a bit expensive so I really let loose here.

For the first time of my life, I had the chance to listen to a Vivaldi concert live, which was great because the four seasons is the first classical piece I remember hearing. And with prices ranging from 15 to 25 dollars (canadian) this might be the most expensive activity you'll do in this city, but then again, could you afford front row seats in a nice concert hall back in america? I sure can't. So treat yourself to all the music you like! :)

Old Jewish Cemetery

Even though it might seem odd, I sincerely recommend visiting the oldest Jewish cemetary in Europe...quite an experience that makes us think a bit. Often I see things on tv about different horrors during time and find most remarks "cliché". But since I've been there, It really changed my line of thought.
