Overview

Long Beach is beautiful at night, especially right on the beach. One can see a beautiful sunset over the water. There are several nice beach front restaurants. At AX2K1, I saw many nice costumes.

Oh man... what can I say? The rooms were really really nice.. especially the down comforters. Extremely comfortable. I had several great nights there. The refrigerators being vending machines was just ghetto, though. I''m used to being able to use the small refridgerator in a hotel room, but since there were canisters in there, I couldn''t do that. :(

Restaurant | "The Yard House"

Mmm Mmm fun
At The Yard House, I was surprised at the interesting selections in the menu, such as the wasabi mashed potatoes. I had a sushi-like appetizer and enjoyed looking at everyone else's meals. Because we had no reservations, we sat outside and waited. The restaurant is right on the water, and we actually got down onto the docks and explored a bit. All in all, an interesting adventure.
