Escape for Thanksgiving

Overview

Quote:
South Lake Tahoe/Stateline is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains located right next to Lake Tahoe. Depending on what season you visit, you can see many different things. In the late fall/winter/early spring, you can snow ski, snow board, and ice skate. In the late spring/summer/early fall, you can golf, hike, and water ski. And of course, year round you can gamble on the Nevada side.Quick Tips: If you plan to visit during the fall/winter/spring, bring chains or prepare to buy them if needed to go through the mountains. At this point we were not in the mood for any alcohol, so water was the drink of choice. The food was served quickly and was served at the correct temperature. It also tasted really good! Because it was the night before Thanksgiving, the restaurant was not crowded as it would be on a normal day before "weekend" day. We were quickly seated and waited on. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly and made sure our drinks never were empty. The ambiance is typical Hard Rock Cafe with rock music memorabilia decorat...Read More
