Call into the Main Visitor Centre and give them an idea of how long you have and what you like, and they will provide plentiful suggestions. Unfortunately, many of the ranger-led activities (like swamp wading) do not start until the busy Christmas period. The highlight of the trip down to Flamingo and back was the Anhinga Trail. In spite of being the most visited area of the park, this boardwalk was alive with human tolerant wildlife – anhinga birds, storks, ibis, turtles, and alligators to name the most obvious.
