Restaurant | "Awesome Gelato in Antigua"

Fragolosa is Antigua's very first Gelateria, and needless to say, I was super excited. The last time this chilly and sweet Italian treat graced my lips was during a trip to Italy last year, and in my opinion, it was high time for a repeat encounter. Fragolosa opened its doors in the month of May 2013, and it's run by actual Italians. The interior is brightly lit, both by artificial lighting, and natural light from the large windows on one side. The furniture is vibrant, featuring rows of white tables and see through glossy red chairs. On each table, a matching red napkin holder keeps the colour scheme in balance. Now, what is a gelateria without the actual gelato? Currently, the...Read More

Tony's Water Sports, Bar and Grill is a mere five minute drive from St. John's City with limited traffic flow, and it's a great place to escape the crowds and lose yourself for a while. The great location makes it a favourite amongst many locals, and while the beach is never deserted, peace and tranquility is not hard to find. The beach bar doesn't just serve drinks and alcohol, but fantastic food incuding Bbq chicken with rice and salad, hot dogs, burgers and fries. Tony's grill is always on fire, and the tantalizing aromas which arise will definitely tempt your stomach, but we warned that cash is needed, as credit cards aren't accepted.Tony's bar is a comfortable place to han...Read More

For persons who are tired of the regular old junk food joints such as KFC, a new player has entered the fast food game in Antigua. This new contender has risen above 'ordinary' to bring something new to the table, and without further ado, let me introduce 'Slice' by Johnny Coconat.Bursting with creativity and sheer ingenuity, Johnny has revamped the pizza business on the island by offering a menu so extensive, that it surpasses those of his rivals in leaps and bounds. Several of the options availabe haven't been sold locally before, but that's only one small factor which helps to justify why Slice is so special. My friend Jenn and I were looking for a place to eat a light lunch ...Read More

If you're planning a sport themed vacation, or you are simply interested in hitting the green for an afternoon, the best putting grounds on the island belongs to the Cedar Valley Golf Club. Conveniently located on the Northern side of Antigua, only a mere 3 miles distance away from the main city of St. Johns, Cedar Valley Golf Club offers patrons a chance to indulge in some quiet 'tee' time. Located in one of the more affluent areas in Antigua, Cedar Valley Golf Club spans a wide area exceeding 6000 yards. The property is well maintained, and the grass is always a healthy shade of green with no patches in sight. Various types of trees fringe the course and small manmade ponds add a distinc...Read More

Restaurant | "Tastiest Chicken Wrap!"

Quote:
D'Reynboz is a small-scale eatery on the All Saints Main Road, in the Antiguan countryside. It's colourful exterior may attract you, but it's the great tasting food which will tempt you to return. This cafe won't be mentioned in any guide book and it's presence may not even be found online, but the simple dining experience to be had is definitely something to take note of. Ideally situated between the major villages of All Saints and Liberta, the restaurant offers a quick-stop reprieve from hunger for the average road warrior. Despite this, D'Reynboz also caters for patrons who aren't in a major hurry to be anywhere with outdoor benches and a few patio tables and stools. What ...Read More
