The Gugelhof Restaurant is located right in the heart of the city of Berlin. It’s right near the JüdischerFriedhof And that is how we found this restaurant by walking by and we were hungry. Where to find this restaurantThe restaurant is right in the centre of the city of Berlin which makes it very reachable by public transport but I assume it will be difficult parking. Although you do have a few parking garages nearby where you can park I think they are normally quite full and expensive so it might be better to come with public transport just as we did. There is a metro station nearby and the metro takes you throughout the whole of Berlin. Very easy and well taken care of and not ev...Read More

The Anger Museum is housed in a baroque building at street Anger 18. It was built between 1706 and 1712 as a pack and weigh house. There are art and crafts from the Middle Ages to the recent past to see. Especially the collection of medieval art is worth having a look. Highlights include panels of Hans Grien and Lucas Cranach the Elder. The romance is represented with a painting by Friedrich, expressionist art with murals that Heckel made between 1922 and 1924. The museum also houses decorative arts, including a collection of faience from the eighteenth century. At the museum we saw at the entrance a little museum shop where you could just buy a few things. We had a quick look but didn’t re...Read More

During our stay in Erfurt we had visited a few museums and this one was easy enough to find. We looked this museum up at the internet and liked what we saw. We didn’t want to visit too many museums because I like to mix it up a little bit with cultural activities but also things like shopping and going to restaurants! We could park nearby the museum but it was in the centre so it was paid parking. We have visited this Mariendom during our visit in Erfurt. You can’t really miss this building. The cathedral forms one complex with the St. Severi and can be reached via a wide staircase from the Cathedral Square, the "Gerade". After the first cathedral had collapsed, they began in 1154 with the ...Read More

Explore new worlds my parents always said to me. You never know what you might learn and find out when you try new things. For that reason we love to go to museums now and then. It’s quite fun to see and learn new things. For that reason we simply had to go to the Deutsches museum in Munich. It’s actually the largest science and technology museum in the world, so our expectations were high! The museum dates back from the early 20th century and goes back to the 1903. Since this museum is more than hundred years old it was been able to collect some really impressive collections in that time from really old stuff to new. The museum is the most famous for the airplanes, something my husband rea...Read More
