The restaurant is right in the centre of the city of Dresden which makes it very reachable by public transport but I assume it will be difficult parking. Although you do have a few parking garages nearby where you can park I think they are normally quite full and expensive so it might be better to come with public transport just as we did. The restaurant is German focused and serves therefore mainly regional dishes but also international dishes. The restaurant is housed in an old building giving it probably some limitations for people with walking difficulties and people in wheelchair. Therefore it’s probably best to contact the restaurant beforehand. The restaurant had a good atmosphere a...Read More

While spending a few days on holiday we always love to have dinner at restaurant in the city. Normally you have the option to dine in the hotel where you are staying and sometimes that’s very easy since you don’t have to walk or travel but it’s often also boring and you are missing out. We saw this Steakhouse restaurant Ontario which is an Argentine restaurant in the city of Dresden. I always love the idea of a steak and what’s better than a steak made in an Argentina restaurant? From the outside the restaurant looks really inviting and has really that Argentina feeling. The inside isn’t much difference and it’s like walking into a restaurant 100 years ago. It’s a typical Argentina style re...Read More

Who doesn’t love to go to a zoo? It’s always a fun trip and I love to see the animals. When we stayed in Dresden we simply had to visit the zoo here. When we visited the city of Dresden we had of course done a lot of cultural activities and of course also we had time for some shopping and to visit the zoo! I always like the zoo and it’s just a fun way to spend a whole day wondering around. You can defiantly spend a day in Dresden and certainly when you visit with children. There is much to see! The entrance fee was around 15 euro’s which isn’t cheap but it’s a normal price. I can imagine that when going with a family it will be quite expensive. At the entrance you get a free map of the zoo ...Read More

Hotel | "Staying in Dresden Intercityhotel"

When staying in Dresden i would like to recommend the Dresden Intercityhotel. We had previous experience with a hotel in the same chain and were very pleased with our stay. We enjoy staying in Dresden. Dresden is a perfect mix of beautiful old building and modern facilities like good shops, nightlife and restaurants. The last time we stayed in Dresden we stayed at the hotel Intercity Hotel. When we arrived, we were a bit early and so the room wasn't available yet. By the large group in the lobby i would say we weren't the only ones but lucily an hour later, at normal check in time, we were able to check in. We noticed that you could just leave your luggage at the reception desk, and ...Read More
