During our week in Belgium, we started with a car and drove around for one week to discover a little bit more of the country. The cities in Belgium like Brussels and Antwerp are quiet nice but we have been a few times before and didn’t really want to go back there again. Belgium is a small countries with a few million people and a great rich history. The Belgium people aren’t really know for there cuisine but they have a few nice restaurants. The restaurant is close to the water, on a boulevard were most people go during the night to spend their evening. Aloung the boulevard are lots of benches were you can sit around and enjoy the people walking by. Next to the restaurant are many little s...Read More

Westin Hotel From Leipzig Central Station there it’s little more than 5 minutes walk to the hotel, a few hundred yards. At the hotel we were immediately asked if they could help us with our luggage but we friendly declined. We could handle the last few metres. Well we simply couldn’t resist. As already mentioned, we had a Grand Deluxe room on the 23rd Floor with a truly first-class view of Leipzig, which makes every photographer's heart beat faster. The only downside was that the windows couldn’t be open. ...Read More

We apologized, which was greeted with a friendly smile. Our table was already reserved. The jackets were taken from us and hung on the wardrobe. We participated in a round glass table, the usually enough for 4 people. A glance around confirmed that you can feel comfortable here. Simple, yet elegant, this was my first impression of the restaurant. We sat behind a room divider. Across the room divider we had a look to the bar....Read More

Germany is full of palaces and has a true rich history that goes back thousands of years. This rich history has been greatly preserved over all those years and of course much has been lots, also a lot is still here these days. A great example of that is the Muncher Residenz. This palace is the largest palace in Germany. The Muncher Residenz was once home to the Bavarian Monarchs and is located in the city center of Munich. It’s a truly large palace with 130 rooms with rooms as the treasury. To enter it costs seven euro per person but there are also deals available so make sure you check the website for more information. You have the option for taking a tour with an audio guide.
