Visiting my friends is always a treat and not only because they are such a super bunch of great people but they also take me to such a great restaurants. My last visit was a brief one but they still managed to take me to this great restaurant. They have been here just a few times before but, this restaurant is still a relatively new restaurant. It’s located just outside the city center and is about 10 minutes walking from the main square. We arrived with the car and found just one parking space so we were quite lucky. And since the weather was horrible and raining really hard, we were actually really lucky being parked so close to ...Read More

Grand Babylon Hotel Café Restaurant Pannekeetweg 20 1704 PL Heerhugowaard 072-5723906 Setting In Heerhugowaard is not much to do. There is an old centre and a large indoor shopping mall. Alkmaar is situated about 7 km and easily accessible. So if you have time, it is worth it. Arrival Long before arrival we were called. The lady at the reception wanted to know about what time we would arrive. When we said we wanted to first have a look in Heerhugowaard, that was no problem and we could check in later. There was the possibility by checking in the hotel with a code that they would give to you because there is no 24 hour reception. W...Read More

Those who want to stay in Amsterdam has often to spend quite a lot of money on hotels. As you very well can save the cost of one night. There is the Hotel 'Heart of Weesp, "in Weesp. I've been there a few nights when I had to be in Amsterdam. Weesp, the Randstad Weesp is ideal if you go to big cities such as Amsterdam. There is a large train station and with a few euro’s you can see all the big cities. Because the parking is at the train station Weesp free, there are many people who drop their car when they go to the big city. From station Weesp is a good connection to Amsterdam, Lelystad, Schiphol, Hilversum and Utrecht. Heart of Weesp The Heart of Wees...Read More

The price was not that bad for this hotel, 75 euros for a single room is not bad but not great. But what gave me most is, was definitely the hotel picture and description of the Art Deco style villa. Address Emmastraat 35 in Hilversum. . It is a three star hotel with 20 rooms. Some rooms have a balcony. Each room has its own design. Location wise the hotel earmarked as a hotel near the centre and the station. Well, for the centre you have to walk 10 minutes. It actually lies in an old suburb of Hilversum. The villa itself is a point where two streets meet. So basically on a corner. Arrival There is no private car park at the hotel. Fortunately I fo...Read More
