De VeilingThe Veiling in Scheveningen is located at Palacestraat 12-16, a cozy street with several other bars and restaurants. The place is a mix of a bar and restaurant where you can simply just go for a drink and have dinner. We went for dinner here but at arrival we where asked to first take a seat at the bar because our table wasn’t ready yet. We arrived at about eight o’clock and it was really busy which is normally a good sign!InsideThe restaurant looks cozy even it was very busy. It was very loud when you enter but not because of the music. It’s quite a big restaurant with wooden tables and wooden chairs which where actually comfortable. It has a good atmosph...Read More

AddressSeinpostduin 24 Scheveningen 2586 EG Telephone 070-3520204 We were looking for a hotel near Den Haag, so Scheveningen was a perfect location and the price was good. It was an offer. 84 euro for two people is not bad. The hotelThe hotel is within walking distance of the beach and it’s close to the famous Kurhaus (about 500 meters). It is a three star hotel with 44 rooms. Some rooms have a balcony. We had a balcony, large enough for multiple people and with view on the sea, so it was fun to watch people. The locationLocation wise the hotel earmarked as a hotel in a prime location directly at the sea. Just a small walk ...Read More

Address The hotel is located at Badhuisweg 1954 in Scheveningen within walking distance of the beach. Close to the Kurhaus. It is a three star hotel with 16 rooms. Some rooms have a balcony. We had a balcony, large enough for multiple people, nice to watch people. The hotel has really a prime location with so close to the beach. Arrival There is no parking at the hotel itself but fortunately we found a spot close to park our car. The first impression is ok but the hotel can use some paint to make it nicer. You see two big doors and first notice that there are no disabled facilities because the first obstacle starts with a staircase. The hallway is really small and u...Read More

The Rijksmuseum van oudheden or Natl Museum of Antiquiti is located in the city center of Leiden. It has a great collection of mostly Egyptian mummies and artifacts. We decided to go here since I’m a huge fan of the Egyptian history and this museum is highly recommended. The museum is only a five minute walk away from the main square and therefore very easy to reach by foot. The outside of the museum doesn’t look that impressive and actually quite small. I was even a bit disappointed but decided to go ahead anyway since I knew the collection was meant to be good. The museum has two floors and has a collection of Egyptian mummies, the temple of Taffeh and much more artifacts.
