When we went to America we went through the airport of Heathrow in London and since we had to catch an early flight we decided to stay for the night. We were doubtfull about choosing a really budget hotel and since we wanted to be all relaxed the next day we went for the four star hotel of Crowne Plaza. The Crowne plaza hotel is only six minutes away by car from the Heatrow airport. There is always a shuttle service available for people we don’t have a car. The city center of London is only 20 minutes driving away but i would certainly recommend using public transport as the roads can be very busy in London and parking is expensive. It’s a large hotel with 465 hotel rooms and a ...Read More

IntroductionWho says Hyde Park to me just get a broad smile back, Hyde Park brings back memories to me. All positive. Whether in Sydney's Hyde Park or the park in London, it remains a magical atmosphere for me. The park is a real event in London park. Here I have been at the party, Hard Rock Calling. With performances from The Police, The Bangles and Eric Clapton along with this beautiful park was a successful party. The magic of Hyde Park London I will never forget.HistoryHyde Park was claimed in 1536 by Hendrik the eighth to use as a hunting ground. It is one of the Royal Parks of London. Here belong, for example, Richmond and Regent Park. Today is the official pr...Read More

Introduction When I was in London for one week, I obviously have done a lot. I have visited many museums and attractions and on the last day we wanted to do something special. We have chosen to join the group to go to the London Dungeon, a horror museum in central London. Dungeons On the world are five dungeons to find in cities like Amsterdam, London and New York. You can see it as a horror museum, because there are old, horrific stories told and illustrated. These stories are told by narrow, often living characters you wits hunting. It can therefore be regarded as a haunted house. In short, The London Dungeon is really just a tourist attraction for people who like a little ho...Read More

The hotel is centrally situated in Kensington and is easily accessible by the subway. It is situated on a corner of a quiet road in itself. Next to the building is a one-way street where we have parked our car. The Gloucester Road underground station and Earls Court are within about 200 to 300 meters away. With the subway you are within 15-20 minutes in the heart of London. In addition on walking distance (about 75m) is a bus stop. There are also plenty of cafes and bars nearby as well as two supermarkets. A recommendation is "The Prince of Teck" Pub. The pub is about 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel, a cosy pub. We have drunk some beer while enjoying the football on TV. Very nice pub and a ...Read More

We went to this hotel for just a weekend away. The hotel lies at a busy road called Kennington road. The location was quiet good with a bus stop nearby but also the metro station of Lambeth North within walking distance. We bought a 3 day metro ticket for unlimited use for 18 pounds. It was a really good deal since we saw that one ride costs about 4 pounds. The hotel is south of the Thames river and a bit away from the centre so we had to use the metro a lot.The hotel was easy enough found and when you walk into the hotel it gave me a ok feeling. It’s not a luxurious hotel but a perfect hotel for a weekend away and when you are planning to mostly just sleep at the hotel and nothing more. T...Read More
