This massive city is populair under many tourists around the world and certainly got a lot of attention during the 2012 Olympics! We weren’t there during the olympics but could certianly feel the fibe.We stayed at the Novotel London Paddington hotel wich is a four star property located in the area of Paddington. The best thing about this hotel is the location which is right near the Paddington station providing us with a great access to the London Heathrow airport trough the Heathrow express. GeneralDuring my vacation in London, I visited several museums. One was the National Gallery, a museum with paintings only. I came here right on my first day in London. I was watching the environment and when it started to rain, I decided in the National Gallery to take shelter.LocationThe National Gallery is on Trafalgar Square in London. The museum is located a short distance from Charing Cross Underground station, in fact you just have to cross the square. In addition, several buses are stopping on or near Trafalgar Square. In the vicinity of the museum are several parking garages. But it is advisable to use public transport, because that is much simpler and cheaper....Read More

Westminster Abbey is almost always used when there is something special with the English royal family so it seemed nice to go there once.LocationWestminster Abbey is on the Dean's Yard at number 20 in London. In the immediate vicinity of WA are several metro and bus stops. The nearest subway stops are Westminster and St James's Park. WA is close to the House of Parliament and Big Ben. It is not advisable to use the car to go as there is little parking in the area. The BuildingWestminster Abbey official name ...Read More
