After spending all night at the hospital with our friends, we slept in all day. Then we checked in again with our friends and decided to stop in at the House of the Blues to pick up tickets for the upcoming Jackyl show. Since it was 2 pm and we were starving, we decided to just eat while we were here since they would be filming a Jackyl video later. You can start off our meal with appetizers such as street tacos, pulled pork sliders, or the fun sounding voodoo shrimp. American classics offer up meals such as Aaron’s Citrus Chicken, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, or a rib eye. There is fish of the day. There is a several salads for those watching their calories including Seared Ahi Tuna Ch...Read More

After a very exhausting drive in due to the rain, Nick and I were tired and hungry. After dropping off some keys to Nick’s clients, we were starving. We were in the area so we decided to go on over to Broadway at the Beach to grab a bite to eat. I had been to the Carols N Charlie’s on a cruise stop in Cozumel several years ago so I quickly suggested going in. Guests can choose from such appetizers as wings, queso fundido, quesadillas or a bowl of their Azteca soup. There are 6 salads including Caesar, mango, or grilled veggie. They have 3 entries of fish, chicken, or steak. There are 4 different versions of tacos on board. You can have other Mexican favorites such as enchiladas or fajitas....Read More

Before Nick and I headed home, we decided to head out to the beach. We find a parking lot, park the Durango, and then head towards the Sky Wheel. After locating some bathrooms, we look around to see what we could dine on. Nick loves pizza and noticed NY Pizza. So we head across the road for more pizza! Diners can choose from a dozen subs including meatball, ham & cheese, tuna, or turkey & cheese. Or choose a chicken or lamb gyros. There are a couple of salads on the menu. If your not jonesing a pizza then try a hotdog, hamburger, fried shrimp, or even fried pickles just to name a few of the other options. But most likely you are here for the pizza which you can buy whole or b...Read More

Nick and I wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading out to do the helicopter tour. Since this was bike week the major restaurants were full. So we headed for the small airport and noticed King’s Pizza and it wasn’t crowed so we pulled the Durango in the parking lot and went on in. Choose from several appetizers including wings, garlic bread. Or mozzarella sticks. There are several salads on the menu including Greek, chef, and Italian. There are more than a dozen baked and pasta dishes including Spaghetti, chicken parmesan, or try a bit of Greece with Mousaka. There are 17 subs to choose from as well as Greek and Chicken gyros. Or try their famous pizza by making your own from more than ...Read More

Nick and I headed back out to Myrtle Beach with friends to enjoy the highly anticipated Bike Week held every year throughout Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. Bikers come from all over NC, SC, and the county to participate in the major bike fest. Everyone from outlaw bikers to the modern white collar MD biker to those who come without bikes (no you don’t have to have a bike to participate) enjoy the display of these beautifies and have a great time. Nick and I headed back over to the House of the Blues for Full Throttle Fest. The event was held with the Full Throttle Saloon cast that can be seen on TRU TV’s show of the same name and included Angie..Mike..Jesse..the Flaunt Girls..and the...Read More
