Aquarium of BarcelonaWhen in doubt what to do in a large city sometimes it’s just fun to go into a aquarium. You can almost find one in every city no matter where you are in the world. Barcelona is no exception and actually has quite a large aquarium. While it’s normally more considered for children I really don’t mind visiting one and that’s what we did when we were in this great city in Spain. The aquarium of Barcelona is located all the way down at the water. It’s located at the port in the area called Port Vell. Here you can find the marina, but also a large shopping center and bars and restaurants. It’s a popular area with lots of seating along the water with views over the...Read More

Carpe diem lounge club BarcelonaThe Carpe diem lounge club is one of the few clubs located near the beach of Barcelona. The club is easy to reach by public transport as the nearest metro stop is Villa Olympica and is only located just a few minutes away. From Passeig de Gracia it’s only ten minuets to reach the club. When you arrive at night you will see a lot of people ready to go out since it’s the area were to find bars, restaurants and clubs. The entrance of the club is nothing special as you have to descend to reach it. The door policy is quiet strict and you won’t be able to enter with sneakers on. They pride themselves to be a trendy club and they make sure the right peop...Read More

Museum of chocolateThe museum of chocolate is of course about chocolate. This fascinating museum can be found in the city of Barcelona. Right near the city park and the Barcelona Zoo it’s perfect to combine those three into a little day trip. You can take the yellow metro line to metro stop Villa Olympica and work your way up from the zoo, the park and ending at this museum. The entrance fee is very decent and for the price of four euro’s you have access. It’s not a very large museum and i think we took around half an hour up to an hour to see it all. The museum shows you the history of chocolate, the commerce and beautiful art of chocolate. I thought the history about the choco...Read More
