The Old Maypole is a ‘local’ pub, part of the Sizzling pub chain, which serves food and offers facilities such as Sky Sports, weekly quiz night and occasional entertainment. It has an outside newly set up smoking area, a garden, pool bar, main bar and dining area. As I eat here quite often I'm not going to speak about my last meal but discuss my opinions on the menu in general and give some details of what is available and pricing. I find that quality of food varies depending on when you visit. I've been disappointed when dining here on a Sunday when the pub is busy.
