We booked our hotel on Hotels.com, so we got a great rate. This hotel had a great location. We did not rent a car because the hotels down here charge an arm and a leg to park. This hotel was close to the Quarter, right next to the Riverwalk, and very close to the Streetcars. The first time I came to NO we were early and they didn't let us check in, just secured our bags. Not so here. We were able to check in early and the room was nice and clean. No complaints. A nice bar and restaurant. The pool was nice but the jacuzzi was green. NOT INTERESTED. We told the front desk and we did see an improvement but not to our liking so we stayed clear of the hot tub. They did try to add a parking charge...Read More

The heat emanating from the package called to me. It would be a dis-service to wait until we walk ALL THE WAY back to the hotel (it was only about 3 b...Read More

I am under the impression that there is nowhere you can go and get bad food in New Orleans. Daisy Dukes did not disappoint.I found this spot on a list of restaurants and with my desire to try new inexpensive places, we ventured over. There was no line, no wait for my small party of 2. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was not big, but the tables were not crowded together. A sporty little place. There were several tv's with various sports playing. Our waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable - she was able to tell my boyfriend immediately that they no longer served what he ordered. OK - choice #2. The menu was limited. They are known for their wings, but we refused to co...Read More
