This is now known as Tower City. The rapid comes in on the lower level and there are shops and restaurants and a movie theater in the complex. The observation deck is on the 42nd floor and gives a spectacular view of the city.

This place reminds me of places in Florida, with a vibe befitting the Gulf Coast on the north coast. You could take a date here or even take the kids.

Check out the fresh fish. The produce is a bargain if you shop after 4pm as the vendors are anxious to sell their stuff so they can head home. This was always a treat for us to go to the West Side Market when I was a kid and I still like to go when I visit Cleveland.

The outdoor seating is wonderful in the summer and is nonsmoking. They have one section that is smoking outside, and the inside is like an English Pub and also nonsmoking.
Of course, there are lots of really great microbrews to choose from at $3.50 each.
The menu ranges from $10 pizzas up to $18 for Lake Erie perch and other types of local fish. They also have a great selection of appetizers and sandwiches and reasonable prices. Service was excellent. There is also ample parking in the area.
There is also a shop that sells nice T-shirts and six-packs of beer to-go for $7.99 (the same price as the local grocery stores).

The food is very reasonable. I had a chicken salad for $7.99 with chucks of seasoned chicken, pecan, and cheddar with a seasoned dressing. They have po’boys for $7.49 and the dinner entrées are catfish, crab cakes, and steaks for between $18 and $19. See www.fatfishblue.com. This is a very large place, so there is no waiting. It is also kid friendly.

They also have a good selection of domestic and imported beers.

Hotel | "Hampton Inn"
The price was $98 for a KING bedroom for two people. There is also a CVS Pharmacy next store for snacks and drinks. The rooms are standard but nice and large, and the continental breakfast is better than most, with lots of nice pastries and bagels and also eggs and waffles, coffee, tea, and four different kinds of juice. The breakfast bar was even stocked at 9:30am, unusual since they stop serving at 10am, but I guess they know that they have lots of latecomers.

Attraction | "Rock Hall"
There were lots of old posters that are so interesting. It cost $3.50 to see Jefferson Airplane, The Mamas and the Papas, and Janis Joplin in, like, 1966.
