Recently on a day out with my boyfriend we decided to go bowling at Ten in the Brewery in Romford, Essex. The bowling alley is very easy to find, as it set in an enclosure filled with restaurants and other attractions there is a huge car park attached for a low price. You can also get there by tube or bus but you do have to walk from Romford town centre to get here. The bowling alley is open from 10am until 11.30pm Sunday to Friday and 10am until 12pm on a Saturday. Each of the lanes can hold groups of eight people and should be booked in advance, however we didn't book and were easily able to get a lane but this may be due to the early time in which we went. Bowling costs £4.50 (on peak) and £3.50 (o...Read More

Attraction | "Fun for those wanting a day out or for shopping!"

The Brewery Walk in Romford, Essex is located five minutes away from Romford centre. There is onsite parking which is pay as you go and is quite cheap. My boyfriend’s dad has parked here before for a few hours and it wasn't too expensive at £1.50 per hour I believe but I would double check for yourself before parking here . You can also access the Brewery Walk by getting a bus to Romford bus station and walking for a few minutes. The Brewery Walk is great for both shoppers and those wanting a nice day out. For shoppers there are many different types of places to shop including Sainsbury’s, Hobby craft, JD sports, Mama’s and Papa’s and many more. These shops are all really big and hold a lo...Read More

Restaurant | "Great for an American eating experience!"

My boyfriend and I decided that we would eat at the famous Frankie and Bennys restaurant at the Brewery in Romford, Essex. As I have mentioned in other reviews, the Brewery is really close to Romford centre and has it's own car park. Frankie and Bennys looks pretty spectacular from the outside (as you can see in the photo!) it is very American looking with the bold writing and colours. There is seating both inside and out, the outside seats look like what you find outside of a French café and don't look very comfortable however I can't be sure about this! We sat inside which is nicely decorated (again in an American theme). These seats are very comfortable and the place had a great atmosph...Read More

Restaurant | "Posh dining at Liberty Bell"

When I went out shopping with my boyfriend and his family in Romford, Essex, we decided that we were going to eat at the Liberty Bell restaurant. The restaurant is practically a stones throw away from the town centre and easy to walk to. There is also a car park next to the Liberty bell but I am unsure whether you have to pay for this or whether it is free for users of the restaurant. The Liberty Bell looks really sophisticated from the outside with beautiful hanging baskets full of flowers all around the exterior. When we walked inside I was really blown away by the quality of the décor, the tables and chairs are well placed so that you are not too close to other diners. I like this in a ...Read More

Attraction | "Visit Vue to visit a whole new world"

My boyfriend and I decided that we would visit the Vue cinema to see a movie in 3D. The Vue cinema is situated upstairs in the Brewery a short walk away from Romford town centre. The Brewery has a big car park that isn't too expensive. The Vue cinema is open daily between 9am and 4pm.The Vue cinema is huge! There are well over 20 screens showing a variety of films in both 2D and 3D. I love 3D films, we saw Avatar here and it was breath-taking due to the size of the screen. A ticket at peak time for an adult cost £9 which is too overpriced! I think that you can go to cheaper cinemas however the experience that you get here due to the size of the screens and choice of times to see films is ...Read More
